Sarah Sundin's Latest Release Recieves a Starred Review from BookList

Congratulations to award-winning author, Sarah Sundin. Her forthcoming release, A Memory Between Us, book two in the Wings of Glory series, is receiving advance praise:

A Memory between Us.
Sundin, Sarah (Author)
Sep 2010. 432 p. Revell, hardcover, $14.99. (9780800734220).

High on morphine and with a backside full of shrapnel, brash and handsome Major Jack Novak impulsively proposes to his nurse at first sight. But disciplined Lieutenant Ruth Doherty, who also nursed Jack’s younger brother Walt after his amputation, doesn’t date, ever. She has seven orphaned siblings to support, and no time or money for socializing. Jack, whose besetting sin is his pride and whose downfall is his reliance on self rather than God, determines that he will win her over, regardless of the war, his friend Charlie’s good advice, and Ruth’s continued resistance. Sundin’s second wartime inspirational romance set among the pilots of the U.S. Army Air Force stationed in England during WWII is an exceptional read, building on A Distant Melody (2010), but able to stand alone. A riveting tale based on the real-life adventures of her great-uncle, Sundin’s novel features characters living large under emotional and physical stress, while the setting provides invaluable details and insights into the wartime mindset.

RH partyBeloved fiction author, Rachel Hauck is hosting a virtual birthday party on Facebook!

Rachel is celebrating her birthday by giving away gifts to her fans - iTunes & Amazon.com gift certificates, books, and Sara Evan's CDs.

On Monday, December 7, novelist Rachel Hauck will host a gathering for her readers on Facebook. The celebration—in honor of Rachel’s 49th birthday—will commence on her fan page at 8pm ET. The author has much to celebrate this year, including the upcoming January 2010 release of The Sweet By and By (Thomas Nelson) written with multi-platinum country recording artist Sara Evans.

During the one hour party, fans will swap stories and answer trivia questions about Rachel and her books for chances to win prizes: signed copies of The Sweet By and By and Rachel’s previous library of novels like Diva NashVegas, iTunes and Amazon giftcards, and Sara Evans CDs.

Friends, family and fans bless me all year. So for my birthday, I wanted to give back. A cyber birthday party is a fun way to gather people from all over, give away prizes, chat about our favorite birthdays and make some new friends,” said Hauck.

Best-selling and award-winning author Rachel Hauck lives in central Florida with her husband, Tony, a pastor. A graduate of Ohio State University, she left the corporate software marketplace in 2004 to write full time.
